We are pleased to announce that the 12th International Conference on Industrial  and Systems Engineering will be held on September 8–9, 2026 (17–18 Shahrivar 1405) in both in-person and virtual formats. The conference is organized by the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, in collaboration with the Mashhad Electric Energy Distribution Company, and will take place at the Faculty of Engineering, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.

For the first time in the history of this conference series, the 12th edition will be jointly organized with the financial and institutional support of the Mashhad Electric Eenergy Distribution Company. It is hoped that this collaboration will strengthen university–industry engagement and contribute to advancing the frontiers of knowledge in the fields of industrial engineering, management, and systems—particularly in specialized and applied areas related to the electric power transmission and distribution industry.

As in previous editions, the conference welcomes scientific papers in all areas of industrial and systems engineering in accordance with the conference themes. In addition, the applied tracks of this year’s conference have been designed with a specialized focus on smartization (digital transformation), physical asset management, and productivity.

Researchers, academics, students, professionals, and practitioners working in industrial engineering and systems and related application domains aligned with the conference themes are cordially invited to submit their scientific papers and actively participate in enhancing the scientific vitality and impact of this conference.
