چکیده :
Widely played video games have fueled the growth of a thriving global industry, with much of its success owed to the substantial role of audiovisual translation and game localization. In Iran, interest in video games has become increasingly widespread, yet the potential of this market remains underutilized, presenting a valuable opportunity for creative entrepreneurs. This study aims to identify and elucidate the barriers to video game production in Iran. To achieve this, in-depth and semi-structured interviews were conducted with seven industry experts. Using a system dynamics approach, the causal relationships within the industry were mapped out. Ultimately, based on the findings, managerial insights were provided for creative entrepreneurs in the gaming industry and for Iranian decision-makers in this sector.
