Implementation of a decision making-optimization approach to location - routing of cash-carrying vehicles in Tehran city

چکیده :

In this study, a decision making-optimization approach is implemented to solve a location and routing problem of cash-carrying vehicles considering reliability. The proposed approach consists of two phases, in the first phase, the step-wise weight assessment ratio analysis method, which is a multi-criteria decision-making method, is used to evaluate the different movement routes of cash-carrying vehicles in terms of traffic risk. In the second phase, a two-objective optimization model under uncertainty is proposed, which has the objective functions of minimizing costs and maximizing reliability. Also, the routing of vehicles is in the form of simultaneous pickup and delivery, which routes start from the central bank vaults and serve bank branches. In order to deal with uncertainty, different scenarios have been considered based on vehicle theft rates in different routes. Finally, based on a case study located in Tehran and checking the applicability of the proposed approach, the effects of different parameters on the dimensions of the problem have been analyzed.
