A Possibilistic Mixed-Integer Dynamic Model for a Routing-Inventory-Investment Problem with Dual Capital Allocation Decisions

چکیده :
This study introduces a Dynamic Moving Knapsack Problem (DMKP) inspired by mobile retail businesses, such as shop trucks. The proposed model supports optimal decisions on inventory replenishment and external investment during a multi-town selling journey under uncertain demand, selling prices, and investment returns. A possibilistic mixed-integer programming model is developed to maximize final profit through dynamic capital allocation among inventory purchasing, routing operations, and external investment. Numerical experiments and sensitivity analyses show that selling price, interest rate, and slack cost strongly affect investment and inventory decisions. The proposed approach achieves up to 179% higher profit than traditional investment strategies, demonstrating its effectiveness in dynamic and uncertain business environments.
