Critical Factors for Assessing Smart Manufacturing Readiness: A Meta-Synthesis Approach

چکیده :

—In recent years, various industries have undergone significant transformations driven by the fourth industrial revolution, known as Industry 4.0. A key component of Industry 4.0 is smart manufacturing. Prior to implementing smart manufacturing, it is essential to assess the current state of manufacturing systems. This assessment necessitates the identification of critical factors that can comprehensively evaluate a manufacturing system. The purpose of this research is to identify these critical factors to assess a company's readiness for smart manufacturing implementation. A meta-synthesis method was employed, involving a systematic review of the literature. This study identified 18 critical factors, whose importance was subsequently validated by experts. Company managers aiming to implement smart manufacturing can utilize the research findings to evaluate their company's readiness.
